Question by Marcus:

Hello. I am Marcus, 38.

I have been married with my wife for 15 years.

Recently I realized that I was having troubles with erection.

I am able to achieve an erection only when I masturbate.

When we are trying to have sex – erection is very weak and usually I am unable to enter my wife.

She is afraid that she is the cause of the problem, that I don’t want to have sex with her, but that’s not true!

She is very hot and sexy, I feel arousal when I think of having sex with her. But I am unable to do it anymore! Is this impotence?

About me: I am healthy man, leading healthy life. I eat good food, exercise every other day, don’t have any serious health issues. Don’t take any meds. I also have doctor exam and blood test every year.

What is wrong with me? If this is erectile dysfunction, how can I fix impotence? Please, help!

Answer:

Hello, Marcus. I’m pretty sure that your wife is not the cause of the problem as you say you feel arousal when dreaming of sex with her.

Your problem could be caused by some psychological issue – stress, depression, fear of not being able to satisfy your wife and so on. First thing you should do is to talk to her honestly.

You both should reduce anxiety when you are preparing to have sex. You should trust each other. You both should be relaxed. It can help you to fix impotence.

Anyway it is essential for you to consult your doctor. Your ed can be a symptom of a serious underlying disease – for example, diabetes. You should have some tests done in order to determine the cause of troubles with ed and to prevent it from developing.

I wish you good luck!
